Love Among the Peaks: Katie and Will’s Fall Montana Wedding

Mountain wedding invitation with Montana die cut card for a fall Montana wedding

There’s something undeniably magical about a fall Montana wedding where the wide-open skies and towering mountain ranges create a breathtaking backdrop. For Katie and Will, this natural beauty was the perfect setting for their dream wedding. Surrounded by the season’s vibrant colors, they exchanged vows at Bozeman’s Holy Rosary Church before celebrating with family and friends at the Kimpton Armory Hotel. Their wedding day was a seamless blend of classic sophistication and natural beauty, reflecting both their love for each other and their shared connection to the majestic landscapes of Montana.

The Invitations: A Nod to Montana’s Majestic Landscape

From the moment guests received Katie and Will’s wedding invitations, they knew this event would be special. The deep emerald-green mountain scene was a nod to Montana’s majestic landscapes and reflected the couple’s love for the outdoors. Adding a personal touch, we included a copper die-cut card in the shape of Montana, setting the tone for the wedding by blending the timeless with the personal in a way that was deeply meaningful for Katie and Will.

A Ceremony Steeped in Tradition

Katie and Will chose the Holy Rosary Catholic Church for their wedding, a venue that perfectly encapsulated the traditional elegance they envisioned for their ceremony. The church’s historic architecture, with its soaring ceilings and intricate stained glass windows, provided a breathtaking setting for the couple’s intimate, faith-filled ceremony.

The Reception: A Chic Celebration at the Kimpton Armory Hotel

Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Kimpton Armory Hotel in downtown Bozeman, a venue known for its chic, modern design, sophisticated ambiance, and rooftop views.

The décor embraced Montana’s natural beauty, with lush floral arrangements in shades of blush, white, and greenery adorning the tables. The florals captured the richness of the fall season, while copper accents added warmth and echoed the couple’s invitation suite. The design elements from the invitations were seamlessly carried through to Katie and Will’s day-of stationery, creating a cohesive and elegant feel throughout the celebration.

A Unforgettable Night of Live Music and Dancing

As dinner came to a close, the celebration at the Kimpton Armory truly came alive. Guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening of live music, dancing, and heartfelt toasts. Bluebelly Junction set the tone for the night with an eclectic mix of original songs, covers, and mashups, keeping the dance floor packed from start to finish.

Under the soft glow of string lights, Katie and Will’s first dance was a moment to remember—intimate, joyful, and surrounded by the love of their closest family and friends.

Katie’s Showstopping Look: A Blush Mermaid Gown

Katie’s wedding dress was nothing short of showstopping. She chose a blush mermaid gown with a fitted silhouette that flared into a voluminous ruffled train. Her bridesmaids wore deep emerald satin floor-length dresses, creating a striking contrast with Katie’s gown and making the floral arrangements stand out. Together, the bridal party looked like they stepped out of a fashion editorial—classic with a modern edge.

Dapper Details: Timeless Tuxedos for the Groom and Groomsmen

The groom and groomsmen added to the elegance of the occasion by wearing classic black tuxedos. Their sleek black ensembles beautifully complemented the bridesmaids’ emerald dresses, creating a harmonious and stylish look for the wedding party. Will’s attire featured subtle personal touches, highlighting his unique style and personality.

A Day to Remember

Katie and Will’s fall Montana wedding was more than just a celebration; it was a gathering of family and friends woven together with love, laughter, and beautiful details. The vision for their day began with the custom wedding invitations that featured a deep emerald green watercolor mountain scene and a copper Montana-shaped die-cut card. These invitations set the tone for a wedding that embraced Montana’s natural beauty and the couple’s love for the outdoors.

Every element of Katie and Will’s wedding was thoughtfully chosen to reflect the beauty of the season. From the deep emerald green of the bridesmaid dresses to the soft tones of the floral arrangements, their wedding was a celebration of their unique story. The couple’s love for Montana was evident in every detail, creating a wedding that was not only beautiful but also deeply meaningful.

This is the third message we've received from family and friends regarding our invitation design, after sending our invites out just a week ago. It's hard enough these days getting people to return their RSVPs for weddings, but to have people go out of their way to compliment the details, is incredible.
